SA GAP Mark Scheme
Only Food Business Operators complying with the below criteria may use the SA GAP approved logo for business to business communication, including final packaging.
Criteria:
- The FBO has been certified by SA GAP in line with the requirements of ISO 22000/FORC 22000

The FBO has been certified by any ISO 17021 accredited certification body to the following Food Safety Standards:
- ISO 22000
- BRC
- FSSC 22000
- SQF or
- Any other GFSI benchmarked Food Safety Scheme accredited under ISO 17021 and ISO 22003
- The relevant audit shall be conducted by a certified person i.e. certified by an IEC/ISO 17024 accredited body with the relevant approval for Food Safety Management Systems i.e. SAATCA/IRCA approved Food Safety Management System Lead Auditor
- Announced product quality inspections may be required
